Cross Section Method for % INR in range - method which an ending date is chosen, and all patients are evaluated on the last reading prior to that date to see if they were within range. The number of patients in range on their last reading is taken as a percentage of the total patients.
Example: User selects date of 11/1/06. All patients are evaluated with the INR reading that is closest to (but not after) 11/1/06. Out of 100 patients, 71 had readings within their therapeutic range, therefore 71% of the patients were in-range as of 11/1/06.
